More About Me

Real Estate is my Super Power!!

Shannon's love for the Carolinas began as a young girl. She spent her summers in the Smoky Mountains escaping the Florida heat at summer camp. After graduating high school in Naples, Florida, she chose Elon College to pursue a major in music. While she continued her passion for music, she ultimately graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

After college, she found a career fit in the administrative aspect of real estate. In 2004, she relocated her growing family to Charlotte and began her career as a real estate paralegal, closing residential properties in North and South Carolina. For the next ten years she furthered her career and built strong relationships with the best real estate agents, lenders and attorneys in the Charlotte region.

In 2011, her son Michael was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma (now in remission) and her life was forever changed. She had to refocus her time and energy and a few years later left the paralegal position to spend more time with her busy family. During this "time off", she pursued a NMLS lending license and worked for a year as a loan officer assistant for a large mortgage company, learning the ins and outs of lender requirements for mortgage applicants. One of her former realtor clients offered her a position as an assistant to their growing team and in 2016, Shannon received her broker's license.

She spent the next two years working for the team, handling all the administrative duties of a realtor and experiencing firsthand how to be a part of a top producing team focusing in the Dilworth/Eastover/Myers Park areas. In 2019, she decided that it was time to throw her hat in the ring and join her realtor friends in this business that she had been a part of for fifteen years. In 2020, her first official year in sales, she was a top producing agent during multiple months, she earned the honor of being "Rookie of the Year" and received top honors as a Power Player Masters Circle Award winner.

Shannon spends a lot of her time volunteering at her children's school and was the treasurer for the athletic booster club, concession and sponsorship committee co-chair and executive board member, all while cheering on her son Michael who plays football and basketball. Her daughter is also very active in marching band, choir and musical theater. During her spare time, Shannon loves to travel and doesn't miss weekly Trivia Night with her friends and husband Ryan, who is a retired/disabled army veteran from the West Virginia/Ohio area. Shannon is a proud supporter of the military and was a member of the Veteran's Advocacy & Benefits Association.

Shannon is licensed in both North and South Carolina.
